Alpacas at Windy Hill

Alpacas have opened up a whole new way of life for thousands of Americans looking for a more peaceful and fulfilling rural lifestyle, tax benefits, a transition to retirement, a healthy way to to raise their kids, and an alternative to the corporate world.

Alpacas produce lovely fleece that makes up into some of the world's most luxurious garments. It's warmer, lighter, softer and more durable than sheep's wool, and is practical and pleasurable to wear. Unlike other alternative livestock such as ostriches, alpacas have a viable end product with a great future. There are 2 fleece types: the "Woolly Huacaya" and the "Silky Suri".

The gentle alpaca is fairly new to North America, so we're all embarking on this adventure together. Here at Alpacas at Windy Hill we offer you a wide range of Services, including: Alpaca Sales, Boarding, Agisting, Suri and Huacaya Herdsires, Special Events and Educational Workshops, Alpaca Fiber Products, Alpaca Resources, and outstanding Ongoing Alpaca Support.

If you've never seen an alpaca and would like to visit, we'd love to introduce you to over 300 suri and huacayas!
